On February 14, 2025, the factory acceptance test (FAT) for the monitoring system of Dak Mi 1 Hydropower Station in Vietnam took place in Nanjing. Leaders and experts from Dongfang Electric Group International Cooperation Co., Ltd. and NARI Hydropower Company were in attendance at the meeting.

During the event, the attending leaders and experts listened to the in-factory commissioning work report of the project presented by NARI Hydropower Company, who conducted spot checks and tests on the equipment. After thorough discussions, they unanimously reached an agreement that the project had passed the factory acceptance, and they fully commended the work carried out by NARI.

The DAK MI 1 Hydropower Station in Vietnam is located on the Dak Mek River in Dak Glei District, Kon tum Province, Vietnam. The power station is equipped with two Francis hydro-generator units, each with a single unit capacity of 42MW. The successful implementation of the project not only promotes the development of the Vietnamese energy industry towards high-level automation and intelligence but also further expands the influence of NARI Hydropower products in the Southeast Asian market.

The project adopts NARI’s new-generation international version IMC integrated management and control software, which is equipped with functions like real-time monitoring, human-machine interface and fault alarm. The software offers robust technical support for the power station to achieve unattended and fully automated operation.
